Tandela Farm, Northern Natal The Tandela Farm Project is situated in the northern region of Natal, near the big game reserves and the Swaziland border. The actual project is the immediate neighbourhood of a private game reserve where the young people can take part in animal preservation and assist in the mechanical workshop. The project is run by a Child and Youth Care worker from Germany, => Mr. Tino Schmidt (born in 1975) The other professional person in the project is Phumla, she is a health care worker.
The project offers intensive social treatment including behaviour
management, life skills training within the project, skills training in
form of a practical course in a working enviroment and internet schooling.
Mkuze, the next village, is still 3 hours walk away and running away is not that easily.
